16 p, 984.0 KB The diachronic syntax of negated adjuncts in English / Ingham, Richard (University of Westminster) ; Tubau Muntaña, Susagna (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
In this paper we investigate the diachronic changes in negation and Emphatic Focus that are responsible for the distribution of negated adjuncts in Present Day English. These can occur clause-medially and clause-initially, but generally not clause-finally. [...]

16 p, 471.8 KB On the syntax of English minimizers / Tubau Muntaña, Susagna (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Filologia Anglesa i de Germanística)

Centre de Lingüística Teòrica)
Modern Greek displays two variants of the word min; one corresponds to a negative marker, and the other corresponds to an epistemic modal.
